Brazil hosts Iranian Photo Exhibition

Iranian Film Week and Photo Exhibition has been launched in Brazil.

On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between Iran and Brazil, a photo exhibition along with the screening of three Iranian films has been held in one of the cultural centers of Brasilia.

The event is currently underway in the presence of a number of Iranian and Brazilian cultural figures.

"Today, we are gathering to show the effective power of art and culture as a tool for the rapprochement between the two nations," said the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brasilia Hossein Gharibi referring to the 120-year-old history of bilateral relations.

He added that over the decades, Brazil and Iran have built a strong and fruitful partnership, which is not only the result of economic and trade relations, but also cultural exchanges.

The exhibition of photo works will be held at the center for three weeks and also three Iranian films titled ‘Crazy Castle’, ‘The Painting Pool’ and ‘The Sweet Taste of Imagination’ are being screened with Portuguese subtitles.
